Outlook Express 6.0 Setup Instructions

Open Outlook Express, if an Internet Connection Wizard proceed to the third step.
If an Internet Connection Wizard does not appear, go to the tools menu, scroll down to Accounts.
When the Internet Accounts window opens, click on the Mail tab. 

Go to the Add button and choose mail.

When the Internet Connection Wizard begins enter the display name, display name is the name that will appear in the from field when you send an email, then click next.

Enter your email address and click next.

My incoming mail server is a POP3 server.
Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server should be entered as mail.spacelink.com.au
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server should be entered as mail.spacelink.com.au after these details have been entered click next.

Account Name should be the first part of your email address, i.e. the part before @spacelink.com.au
Enter your password, ensure that Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) is NOT ticked and click next

Click on Finish.

In the internet accounts window you will see the email address you have just created, you can now click close and restart the computer and you will be ready to use Outlook Express.
